These journals contain information on domestic electricity, home design, housecraft, work carried out by individuals and the local branches to inform and educate consumers. It covers a wealth of social history as well as engineering innovation in the UK over a 60-year period of huge technical development.
The Electrical Age journal was unique in its aim, to interpret the message of electricity to the women of the UK.
