The Electrical Age journal (later Electric Living) 1959-1977

Published by the Electrical Association for Women

These journals contain information on domestic electricity, home design, housecraft, work carried out by individuals and the local branches to inform and educate consumers. It covers a wealth of social history as well as engineering innovation in the UK over a 60-year period of huge technical development.

The Electrical Age journal was unique in its aim, to interpret the message of electricity to the women of the UK.
