This one day course aims to explore what is meant by the term mentoring and develop the key skills required to become an effective mentor.
This course will take you through the requirements of UK-SPEC and the process of preparing and submitting an application. You will learn how to plan, record and review your professional development as you progress towards registration, including how to assess your skill level against the relevant framework and how those supporting you can help along the way.
By working with the competency framework set out and maintained by the Engineering Council UK-SPEC, this course will take you through writing evidence from scratch to capture essential information that demonstrates the essential qualities and behaviours to showcase a candidate’s competence.
Our highly interactive, practical one-day course has been designed to help you explore how engineering ethics impacts on your working life. Through facilitated discussion of issues and cases, you will practise identifying and dealing with ethical issues as they arise.
