Planning the Operation of the Future GB Electricity Network

The IET Energy Sector has brought together a number of key individuals from the electricity distribution and transmission industry to investigate the future challenges that will need to be overcome to enable developments in energy generation & supply and to cater for predicted changes in demand. The group will focus on strategic planning and operations recommendations. The group participants are senior engineers from industry, academia, government and the regulator.

Skills in Power Electronics

The IET Energy Sector is supporting the Power Electronics UK Forum’s skills work stream and is collaborating with the forum and the Technology Strategy Board through the Energy Generation and Supply KTN & the Electronics, Sensors and Photonics KTN to promote and support Power Electronics skills development across the UK.
