Library opening times
The Knowledge Centre at Savoy Place is open between 10am - 4pm Monday - Friday. If you have any questions about visiting us, please email libdesk@theiet.org
Who can visit the library?
IET Members and other UK engineering institution members, such as Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) members, may borrow publications that are available for loan.
Non IET Members can use our facilities for reference purposes. Contact the library to arrange your visit.
The library is located in our IET London: Savoy Place building situated on the banks of the Thames, next to Waterloo bridge.

- the Virtual Library and its collection of electronic books and journals
- our hard copy resources
- the online catalogue
- using remote access.
