We are excited to announce a special Ask the Expert forum event, inspired by the insights and discussions from our 2024 global webinar series “IET President’s AI Roadshow: Shaping the Future of AI Ethics”.

This series, guided by Dr Gopichand Katragadda, our immediate past President, brought together experts from around the world to explore the transformative potential of artificial intelligence.

From May to July 2024, participants from 18 countries engaged in nine webinars, delving into the development of real-time, context-sensitive AI solutions that empower industries to make intelligent, rapid decisions. The series also emphasised the ethical, responsible, and impactful application of AI across various fields. Meet the expert

Dr Gopichand Katragadda is the Founder and CEO of Myelin Foundry, an AI company focused on transforming experiences in media, industrial IoT, and automotive sectors.

He holds several prestigious positions, including Independent Director at Bosch India, Asian Paints, and ICICI Securities, and was President of the IET during 2023/24.

He advises the NASSCOM CoE for Data Science and AI and chairs various CII committees.

Previously, he was the Group CTO and Innovation Head at Tata Sons, where he drove innovation across the Tata Group.

He also led GE India Technology Centre, growing it into a leading R&D hub. Gopi has established multiple Centres of Excellence and facilitated research collaborations with top universities.

He is a published author, holds several patents, and has a strong academic background in engineering.
