The IET Futures Fund 2022 Impact Report demonstrates how charitable donations are helping us to reach a wider audience, making a lasting difference to the engineers of the future.
Our Programmes
Under the over-arching banner of the IET Futures Fund, our fantastic IET Faraday® Challenge Days and FIRST® LEGO® League programmes for school children and IET Launch Scholarships for undergraduates and apprentices, attract widespread support from our generous members, companies, charitable trusts and individuals.
Together, we have been able to ensure that thousands more children have the chance to experience the possibilities that engineering has to offer, and nearly 100 students and apprentices are being supported through their studies.

Use your volunteer day to help at one of our Education events
Did you know that many organisations offer a volunteer day each year to their employees? Why not spend yours passing on your knowledge and enthusiasm for engineering and inspire the next generation at the same time by volunteering for one of our education programmes? Whether you’d like to support an IET Faraday® Challenge Day or possibly be a judge or referee at FIRST® LEGO® League, you could get involved and see the impact first-hand.
