About the event

Explore New Possibilities at IET London: Savoy Place.

Join us at IET London: Savoy Place this October for an afternoon of insight, connection and opportunity.

This exclusive member-only event brings together engineers and technologists from across disciplines to explore how the IET supports your journey - wherever you are, and wherever you're headed.

Discover all you need to know about what IET membership can do for you, how to get involved, make meaningful connections and navigate your career. From learning sessions on Professional Registration, Fellowship and volunteering, to networking and a drinks reception, you’ll discover how to stay connected to the pulse of engineering and its people.

We’ll also have interactive activities to get involved and a chance for you to have a professional photo taken for your LinkedIn profile with our photographer.

Can’t make it in person?

You can still be part of the conversation by joining the live-streamed presentation from 1pm to 3.30pm BST

Wherever engineering takes you, you belong here.

Comments from previous year's attendees...

"The networking has been beautiful, there’s been people from different backgrounds and different disciplines, which has shown me how broad the IET can be, bringing engineers and technicians from different backgrounds under one roof. I also really enjoyed the discussion with the panellists, I learned quite a lot."

"I really enjoyed networking with a lot of people, I did not think I would be talking to this many people today! I also enjoyed the Fellowship workshop, it's good to know at a young age what my next steps are and hear from people further on in their career who may be willing to support me as a young female engineer"

"The greatest aspect was the guest speakers during the presentation, hearing from people from different backgrounds, disciplines and age groups. Listening to their stories helped show me that I need to be resilient to any challenges that might be on the way, they mustn’t block me from achieving what I want to achieve."
