IET Venues celebrates triple success with top industry awards and sustainability recognition

IET Venues is celebrating a trio of industry accolades after IET London: Savoy Place won gold at the Conference and Events Awards and achieved a Gold Green Tourism certification, while IET Birmingham: Austin Court received bronze in the Best Venue Customer Service category.

The awards recognise excellence across the events industry, celebrating organisations that consistently deliver exceptional experiences for clients through outstanding service, innovation and operational excellence.

These achievements reflect a shared commitment across IET Venues for delivering exceptional event experiences while operating responsibly and sustainably. In their feedback, the Conference and Events Awards judges praised IET Venues' "impressive track record of sustainability", highlighting successful partnerships, highly skilled teams and ambitious future plans.

Across both venues, sustainability is embedded into their day-to-day operations, from responsible sourcing and waste reduction initiatives to best energy-efficient practices and sustainable catering options. These measures help clients deliver events that support their own environmental, social and governance (ESG) objectives without compromising on quality.

The recognition highlights the growing demand for venues that combine exceptional service with strong environmental credentials. IET Venues remains focused on delivering memorable events while continually investing in ways to reduce environmental impact.

Sean Spencer, Head of Venues at IET, said:

“These achievements are a fantastic recognition of the dedication and expertise of our teams across London and Birmingham. They truly reflect our focus on creating outstanding event experiences while continuing to find new ways to operate more sustainably.

We’re proud to see both venues recognised for their strengths, from conference delivery and customer service to our commitment to sustainability. As our customers' needs evolve, we’re committed to investing in our venues, our people and the experience we provide.

As demand for sustainable venues continues to grow, these latest recognitions reinforce the organisation‘s position as a trusted partner for businesses and organisations looking to host conferences and events that deliver a lasting impact to delegates and the planet.
