Time commitment
You will need to commit to a minimum of one full day per quarter (four days per year) for assessor activities. This helps to ensure a steady and ongoing contribution ensuring you feel confident in the role.
While quarterly engagement is the minimum, if you are able to volunteer more frequently such as once a month, this would be greatly appreciated to enable increased support within professional recognition and the development of engineers.
You will also be required to attend an initial training session, along with mandatory revalidation training every three years, to maintain currency in the role.
We’re upgrading our events registration to make it quicker and easier for you to register for an event or course.
From Wednesday, 27 May, 4pm to Thursday, 28 May, 10am, our registration system will be temporarily unavailable while we upgrade our systems. For any urgent enquiries during this time, please email events@theiet.org and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience.
