Boost Scholarship

For this scholarship, you’ll receive £1,500 per year for up to two years.

Take a look at the criteria below to see if you are eligible to apply.

The criteria

  • For UK residents only
  • Open to part-time and full-time students
  • For students in their final one or two years of an IET accredited degree or degree apprenticeship
  • For students or degree apprentices who have obtained 70% and above at the end of their 2nd year of university. Scottish students, may apply at the end of their 3rd year.
  • You could be doing a degree apprenticeship – if the degree is IET accredited, and your Apprenticeship is not IET accredited, you may still apply.
  • If your apprenticeship scheme is IET accredited, but your degree is not IET accredited you may still apply.
  • An extra year’s funding is available for BEng students who undertake an IET accredited MSc.
  • If you are in receipt of an Engineering Horizons bursary, you may only apply for a Boost scholarship if you are eligible.

If you would like to fill in the application offline and then paste your answers to the online form you can open a word version. You will need to use the CTRL C & CTRL V options when copying back to the online form.
