The Board of Trustees met on Monday, 11 May 2026
In addition to routine matters, the following subjects were discussed:
Professional registration
The Board noted strong performance in Q1, with record processing rates, a 17% increase in applications, successful recruitment of 330 new volunteers now being onboarded, and ongoing support from the Working Party and Volunteer Excellence Team.
Audit and Risk Process Committee
The Board noted ongoing assurance through audit, risk and policy oversight, approval of key audit and financial reports, extension of the external auditors for continuity, and plans for further discussion on organisational risk and risk appetite.
Governance Review
The Board noted progress on the Charter and Bye-Laws review, including Council feedback, proposed amendments for further consideration, upcoming volunteer input, and thanked the taskforce for its work.
