Ruby Authors

To honour the contribution made by some of our greatest minds to research in science, engineering and technology, we are compiling a list of authors who were published in Inspec's inaugural year and again last year and whose work was abstracted in Inspec in both these years.  We already have a sizeable list but by no means exhaustive.  So if you or one of your colleagues are not featured and should be one of our Ruby Authors, your Inspec team would love to hear from you inspec@theiet.org.

Read their stories here:

Roger Griffin

Nick Holonyak, Jr.

Professor Albert P. Linnell

Professor James M Moran

Professor Brian Sealy

Take a peek at some of the recollections from Inspec's earliest customers and those who founded the database.  These reminiscences illustrate how much and how quickly the world of science, engineering and technology has changed in the last 40 years.  They make fascinating reading.
