S1004 - Strategic river crossings

Strategic river crossings: IET comments to the House of Commons Transport Select Committee

Abstract The IET has submitted a response to the Transport Select Committee’s call for evidence on strategic river crossings. The inquiry looks closely at the planning, financing and any regenerative effects of different river crossings in the UK. In particular the IET responded to queries regarding how technology be used to improve strategic river crossings for road users and how cost-benefit analysis methods adequately capture any potential transformative effects of new river crossings.
