Our members celebrated in the WES Top 50 Women in Engineering Awards 2024

To celebrate International Women in Engineering Day, WES has announced the winners and highly commended finalists for its Top 50 Women in Engineering (WE50) Awards 2024: Enhanced by Engineering.

The top 50 winners have been selected from 100 Highly Commended Finalists. The judges stated that the standard of the nominations was extremely high and it is a testament to the difference that female engineers are making in enhancing people’s lives with engineering.

Dr Laura Norton, Head of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion at the IET and Managing Director at WISE, said: “We’re delighted to see so many of our members recognised, and I’d like to congratulate these fantastic women. It’s so important to celebrate the incredible engineers that are enhancing engineering, not only to recognise their achievements but to also shine a light on real life role models for the next generation to encourage greater diversity within engineering.”
