Out of this world football: introducing our Moon United winners

With eyes on the Women’s World Cup, we worked with a team of scientists and engineers to figure out how humans could play football on the Moon one day and launched Moon United!
As part of the campaign, we asked children aged 4-13 to design the very first Moon United football kit – a specially designed and adapted kit for the lunar footballers of the future.
With two age categories, the competition attracted more than 500 entries from across the UK and following a competitive judging process, our winners have been chosen.
Seven-year-old Ishaani from Coventry won our 4-7 age category with her colourful space-themed design. Ishaani hopes to one day play football on the Moon, and she’d take her little sister with her too.
