For over 120 years, Science Abstracts and Inspec have been helping the scientific and research community to find the right information and elevate the quality of their research.
Today Inspec, the electronic version of Science Abstracts, contains over 20 million records. Its team of highly qualified subject specialists review over 4,500 journals (and other serial publications) worldwide, 2,000 conference proceedings, and numerous books, reports, articles and dissertations annually to identify relevant content.
Discover the history of Inspec
A History of Science Abstracts was produced for its centenary and details the landmark developments of the service between 1898 and 1998. It also presented photographs of many of the significant contributors to Inspec's success throughout the years.
