Criteria
The award is for an individual or a small team from the Armed Forces or MOD for achievement in engineering and technical advancement in support of the development and use of capability to support military operations/readiness.
Award
A medal and certificate presented by a member of the Churchill family or high-ranking military personnel.
The presentation of the 2021/2022 award took place on Wednesday, 2 November 2022.
Nominations
Managers or Commanding Officers of qualifying individuals or teams are asked to submit written citations by completing the Churchill Medal Award Nomination Form and emailing it to churchillmedal@theiet.org.
The citation should not exceed 1000 words and can include a maximum of one diagram and one photograph.
