The new-look scholarships include:
Sir Julian Young, IET President, said: “We want to help and support people from all backgrounds onto the engineering career ladder and recognise the importance of a strong first start.
We realise every individual has very different experiences and opportunities, and sometimes these can be barriers to pursuing a career in engineering.
We’re really excited to be able to offer these scholarships to all so that more young people can pursue their dreams within our great profession.”
The IET works with partners from industry and the charitable sector to achieve our shared goals and provide vital experience and networking opportunities.
Applications opened at the beginning of May and will close on 6 October 2022.
