About this event

Managing occupational safety and health is a major challenge in Asia Pacific.  Difference status of development, comprehensiveness of laws and regulations, level of enforcement and compliance all have implications of how occupational safety and health are managed in this region.  The key for successful safety and health rests on the safety leadership in transforming to the right safety culture.  Thus, the competence of business leaders in safety leadership within an organisation is of vital importance.  There are international education and training qualifications for training of safety leadership.  Finally, a framework is applied in enhancing competence for safety leadership in Asia Organisations.  Such framework is centre around four levers of the Influence model.  Base on this framework, a management safety training workshop is developed for a global oragnisation to shape the right safety behaviour of their business leaders through enhancing their competence in safety leadership.

Participants of this seminar can have a better appreciation of the challenges of workplace safety in Asia and be aware of the strategies in dealing with the challenges as well as how ISO 45001:2018 would help their organisation for health and safety leadership.
