Project management techniques training course

About the training course

Success in engineering and technology means there can be no room for error. However, ensuring a large project is managed without problems is sometimes easier said than done.

The aim of this two-day course is to bring out the factors that make the difference between success and failure. It provides key concepts to enable project managers and others to understand the full breadth of project management and offers practical tools to help successful delivery or projects.

During this course you will be introduced to tools for handling the various aspects of project management – technical, strategic, organisational and people management.

The scope of the programme includes tools and techniques for stakeholder management, requirements management, scope management, estimating, scheduling, people management, monitoring and control.

  • Identify, engage with and improve relationships with stakeholders
  • Develop clearer requirements and scope, requiring fewer changes
  • Produce more realistic estimates.
  • Develop more reliable schedules
