Frida Nzaba

In 2019, manufacturing engineer Friday Nzaba moved into a role at Rolls-Royce repairing jet engines – and she’s convinced that becoming registered as an Engineering Technician (EngTech) helped her to get the job.

Andy Fowler

Since completing an apprenticeship at BAE Systems, Andy has followed the company’s ‘Apprentice to Engineer’ personal development plan, which has led to a promotion and EngTech professional registration.

Charlotte Gough

An auto electrical technician at Bentley Motors, Charlotte gained her Engineering Technician (EngTech) registration after completing an IET approved apprenticeship scheme.

Mike John

Having sourced his own industrial placement, proactive Mike was keen to make the most of his experience. His time at Delphi led to a new range of skills, a focused career plan and EngTech professional registration.

Paul Addicott

Paul began his engineering career as a proof inspection apprentice for Rolls-Royce. He was able to apply for Engineering Technician (EngTech) professional registration at the end of his apprenticeship and more recently has moved up in the company, taking on a new role as a process engineer.

James Clayton

Working as a student electronic engineer for Apollo Fire Detectors, James was able to gain the experience necessary to apply for Engineering Technician (EngTech) status.
