Find a professional registration advisor

In addition to your referees and line manager, or your mentor, the IET has a network of members who can offer you further advice.

Industry representatives

To find an IET industry representative within your company, contact the volunteer support unit.

 

Student advisors

To find an IET student advisor, check the student box and enter the name of your university.

Professional registration advisors (PRA)

Alternatively, you can search for a professional registration advisor by checking your location and entering your post code. Clicking on the name of your PRA will provide you with a form to complete to contact them.

Professional registration advisors are members with detailed knowledge of the requirements and routes to professional registration. A PRA will also be able to advise on the presentation aspect of making a formal application. Please attach a partially or fully completed application form, or an up-to-date CV with specific questions you'd like to have answered.

Please contact only one PRA. If you have not had a response from your PRA within two weeks contact the volunteer support unit for assistance.

• An advisor will be able to offer more helpful advice if you attach a partially or fully completed application form, or an up-to-date CV with specific questions you'd like to have answered;
• If your query is regarding any aspect of membership, including categories, benefits and fees, please contact the member and customer service centre.
