IET London: Savoy Place closed for an exciting two-year refurbishment project on 19 July 2013. Our London headquarters for over 100 years, Savoy Place is a building of character and history.
This project will preserve its important heritage, and make a number of improvements to provide a modern home for the IET over the coming decades.
See all the main event spaces including the new Heritage Library and Riverside Room, as well as the Faraday Centre and our exciting engineering exhibits.
It's over a year since we closed Savoy Place, and the project is now firmly into the construction phase.
The proposed floor plans rationalise the space available, providing better flow within the building’s historical structure.
The proposed design will bring Savoy Place’s connection with engineering and technology to the forefront.
Members have been given the opportunity to choose up to three room names in Savoy Place.
