In the past the IEE carried out a salary survey among its members

Basically it was about 8 pages giving the number of the members in
the different areas and the wages ranges and age and the type of industry.

Because of lack of exchange of information between peers (Do you discuss your wage with the folk you work with?) An acquaintance of mine just found out he was being underpaid compared to others after being told by both recruitment agencies and employer he was being paid the local rate

I cant remember the reason why the MIEE stopped these surveys and then publishing the results but i would feel the membership fee would be more worthwhile than getting magazines

So does anyone know the process of restarting the IET publishing this data for its members ?
