Board and committee roles

The IET is governed by a number of main boards, reporting committees and other groups with a committee structure that help to support the IET's activities.

Members are encouraged to put themselves forward for formal board and committee positions through the IET's annual election process as well as applying for committee positions in our Sector committee groups and our geographical and technical communities.

Each board and committee has a specific remit and will require nominees to have particular skills and abilities in order to undertake the role.
