Education and Skills Policy Panel

Identifying policy issues applicable to the education and skills sector and providing guidance to IET members, government and the public.

The Education and Skills Policy Panel, in a manner consistent with the IET mission, will:

  • address matters of policy, and public concern relating to the education and skills sector from the perspective of the IET
  • consider and discuss internal and external material in the area of education policy/legislation and formulate an appropriate response or recommend the appropriate action, i.e. written submissions
  • bring to the attention of the IET any emerging issues in the area of education and skills policy which it believes are of material interest to the IET and on which the institution needs to consider its position

It is one of fourteen policy panels established by the IET policy department.
