Nominations are now open for the Healthcare Technologies Student and Early Career awards

The closing date for nominations is 31 July 2020

The IET Healthcare Technologies Network offers three awards that are open to Undergraduates, Masters and PhD students and early-career professionals within the field of Biomedical Engineering.

Alongside a cash prize, winners will have the opportunity to present their work to experts from industry and academia, as well as raising their profile for their exceptional work.

The Dennis Hill award will be presented to a student on an MEng or MSc programme who has submitted the best individual project dissertation in the field of Biomedical Engineering and cognate subjects in the past year (including Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Physics, Healthcare Technologies and Healthcare Informatics.

The William James Award encourages, supports and recognises the outstanding work of PhD and EngD students demonstrating a high level of commitment and advanced understanding in Biomedical Engineering.

The J.A. Lodge Award is open to all Electronic or Electrical Engineers who are at the early stage of their careers in the field of research and development within Biomedical Engineering
