Know Your Customer (KYC) is the IET’s technology-enabled business process improvement programme to replace our customer relationship management and sales order processing systems so that we can deliver an improved customer-centric experience for our members, volunteers and customers in future.
To enable us to make these changes, our main IT business systems will be temporarily suspended between Wednesday, 24 July 2019 at 5.30pm BST and Monday, 29 July 2019, 9 am BST.
You will be unable to log onto many of our websites during this time or place sales orders and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
The main websites to be impacted include the main IET website login (the website itself will continue to be available), Career Manager, Engineering Communities, Faraday websites, Faraday Centre Members’ Booking in System, Fusetalk, IET Digital Library, IET Academy, IET.tv, Inspec Direct, MyIET, RPS, the Virtual Library and online Library catalogue.
You can continue to contact us by phone and email as usual during normal office hours. During the weekend of the maintenance work, there will also be a Helpline available for any urgent queries. The Helpline number will be promoted wherever possible on our websites prior to the planned downtime.
