The animation tells the story of a young girl who will be taking part in her school Christmas concert – but her acoustic guitar isn’t working. Her Dad tries to help by finding an old amp from the loft – but it needs fixing. The young girl is inspired to fix it and after tinkering with it, she gets it working and the concert is a huge success.
The aim is to show that there’s an engineer in each of us, whether you are a fixer, maker or creator, all you need is imagination.
Like in previous year’s, the video has launched to promote the IET’s involvement with STEM and the impact STEM has on all our lives. There is also a festive competition and prize draw – with the chance to win two KANO Computer Kit Touch worth £279.99.
