Spanning the spectrum of engineering and technology, IET Research, Letters and Open Access Journals cover the disciplines of electrical, electronics, computing, control, biomedical and communications technologies.
Each year the IET awards a prize to the authors of the best paper published within the last two years in each of the IET’s journals. These are then added to the IET Digital Library for a year.
This year’s 25 winning papers span a variety of topics including biometrics, electric power and electrical systems, as well as image processing, intelligent transport systems and renewable power generation.
Vincent Cassidy, Head of Academic Markets at the IET, said: “Promoting and recognising academic excellence is core to our mission as a learned society, and we are delighted to announce the 2018 IET Premium Award for the highest impact articles in each journal. We thank all our authors, reviewers and editorial staff for continuing to improve the quality of our journals programme and each IET Premium Award is an acknowledgement of the great effort supporting the whole programme.”
