Eligible IET members have until 11 April 2018 to vote.
The ballot is now open for eligible members to cast their vote and influence which volunteers will serve in the IET's governance structure for the 2018-2019 term.
The IET is governed by a Board of Trustees that ensures the IET complies with its obligations as a Charity and sets the strategy of the organisation. In the December 2017 print edition of Member News we called for nominations for IET Trustees, Council and Committee members. We are looking for volunteers from across the profession to help govern the IET.
The nominations process closed in January 2018 and the ballot is now open for eligible members to vote for the candidates they would like to see in Governance roles for the 2018-2019 term.
The candidates' selection statements are available to read on the IET Election webpage. Some candidates have also recorded a short video message. These are available to watch on the voting site once you log on to the platform. Please take the time to read the statements, watch the videos and cast your vote, and encourage other eligible members to do the same. There is also a discussion forum on Engineering Communities. Voting closes on Wednesday, 11 April 2018 at 12.00 noon (BST).
Ballot papers have already been sent to IET members who are eligible to vote. If you have opted to receive your ballot paper by email but haven't yet received it, please check your SPAM folder.
If you have any questions about the election process or the ballot, please contact the IET Governance team.
