IET member receives Distinguished Lecturer accolade

Dr Anirban Sengupta

IET member, Dr Anirban Sengupta, has been awarded the title of IEEE Distinguished Lecturer 2017 by the IEEE Consumer Electronics Society. Only eight scientists around the world have been recognised with this award in 2017

Dr Sengupta works as Asst. Professor (with Assoc. Professor appointment approved) in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Indore and is a member of the IET Delhi Local Network Community. Dr Sengupta serves on several editorial boards for IEEE, Elsevier and on the IET Journal on Computer and Digital Techniques.


Dr Sengupta’s key abstract topics include anti-piracy aware IP Chipset Design for CE Devices, Protection of IP-Core Designs for CE Products, Hardware Security of CE Devices: Threat models and defence against IP Trojans and IP Piracy and Resilient Soft IP-core design against terrestrial transient faults for CE Products.


From January 2018, Dr Sengupta will become Senior Editor of the IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine.
