Next month the IET will attend the Industry 4.0 Summit with an interactive stand to capture attendees’ thoughts on industry 4.0 and what this could mean for engineering.
Taking place in Manchester on 4-5 April, the Industry 4.0 Summit & Factories of the Future Expo is Europe’s first conference and exhibition dedicated to industry 4.0 innovations; smart manufacturing and digital factories are just some of the phrases being used today to describe a series of game-changing innovations. Naomi Climer, Past President of the IET will be Chairing the first day.
The IET is taking part within the Factory of the Future Expo, which runs alongside the Summit, to capture on film the comments, experiences and feedback of delegates. In particular, the IET is keen to hear from engineers and manufacturing businesses currently considering or introducing such digital technologies.
The Summit will be the UK’s largest gathering of solution providers, innovators and technology buyers looking to get ready for this major change in global manufacturing. It has attracted some great leaders in industry 4.0, with senior speakers from the likes of Airbus Group, ABB, Bosch Rexroth, Cisco, IBM UK, McKinsey, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Unilever as well as representatives of European digital initiatives on 4.0 from Austria & Holland.
Entry to the Factories of the Future Expo is free and you can register online.
