IET scholarships: apply now!

Deadlines are fast approaching for the IET Diamond Jubilee and IET undergraduate scholarships.

This is the last chance for students to apply for either the IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarships or the IET undergraduate scholarships with a fast-approaching application deadline of 27 June 2013.

Diamond Jubilee Scholarship

The IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarship is available to any student who receives the following grades: 3 ‘A’s at A Level, or 3 ‘A’ grade Advanced Highers or 5 ‘A’ grade Highers (or an International Baccalaureate Diploma at 36 points or above). No other equivalent qualifications are eligible. Applicants should be embarking on the first year of an IET-accredited BEng or MEng programme in Autumn 2013, be a UK resident, and not currently be in receipt of another IET scholarship or IET grant.

Students who meet the minimum criteria will be entitled to an IET scholarship of £1,000 per year for the duration of their degree course, up to a maximum of £3,000 for Bachelors students and £4,000 for MEng students.

IET undergraduate scholarships

The IET offers a range of grants to students studying an IET-accredited degree programme in the UK, which have a maximum value of £1,000. To be eligible for these grants, applicants should be commencing the second, third or final year of an IET-accredited degree course in October 2013; and be expected to obtain 60 per cent or more (i.e. a 2.i or above) in their end of year exams.
