The IET continues to raise its profile through the media.

Since the last print issue of Member News, IET spokespeople, mostly volunteers, have appeared on BBC Radio 4’s PM programme commenting on the effects of climate change on our power networks and on BBC regional television and radio promoting the First Lego League.
Expert IET commentary has also appeared in UK national newspapers including the Daily Mirror, Daily Mail, the Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Times. Trade coverage has been achieved in titles including Electronics Weekly and The Engineer.
IET spokespeople continue to be interviewed by the media in India and China, with recent highlights including an interview with the chair of the IET India Power Panel, Prakash Nayak in Businessworld.
In China, there was coverage of IET president Prof Andy Hopper’s recent visit in publications including the Shanghai Daily, Science Daily, Youth Daily and a number of online outlets. For more information, visit the IET Media Centre.
