How to renew

Each year you will receive a membership renewal notice by post approximately four weeks before the due date.

You can renew your membership:

If you do not receive your renewal notice, you can still renew your membership however; please check your contact details on My IET.

If you have not previously registered a My IET account, it is quick and easy to set up. Click on the "register" button that appears within the top black bar on each IET web page and follow the on-screen instructions.

Why you should renew your membership

If you allow your membership to lapse and you were paying a transitional or concessionary membership fee and then wish to rejoin the IET, the IET standard rate will apply.

Having trouble paying your IET membership fees?

Reduced membership subscriptions are available to member in certain circumstances who would usually be paying the full IET standard rate.
