Over 2,500 IET members act as STEM Ambassadors. Why not join them?
You will help encourage students to consider further study of STEM subjects and progression into related careers, inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals.
As a STEM Ambassador you could:
- support lessons
- give careers talks or help at careers fairs
- provide technical advice to teachers
- help schools make links with industry
No experience or qualifications are needed, just enthusiasm for STEM subjects and a willingness to share your interest, skills and experience in STEM. The amount of time required is entirely up to you; STEM Ambassadors commit to taking part in at least one activity per year.
