The IET was pleased to host its second IET Lounge at Highways UK, with this being the 5th year the conference has been held, with an attendance of almost 6000 people. This year we tried to build on our previous success by featuring five expert talks and a panel session. These included talks from the IET Transport Sector on Mobility-as-a-Service given by Khalid Nur from the Connected Places Catapult, the IET Automotive and Road Transport Systems Network on Ethics and AVs given by Alan Stevens from the University of Southampton, and IET Standards on EV charging Code of Practice given by Graham Kenyon.
It was fantastic to meet so many IET members and friends who visited the stand. And we are very grateful for the support from Arup through the sponsorship of the stand.
