Upcoming webinar: 5G promises and 6G vision

On 11 and 12 November 2020, the 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC) at the University of Surrey with support of ETSI and TelecomTV will convene the telecoms industry’s leading thought leaders and innovators to discuss how to deliver on the promise of 5G and set the agenda for the next iteration of wireless infrastructure as we move to 6G over the course of the next decade.

The Summit will be addressed by the DCMS Minister of Digital Infrastructure, Matt Warman and top researchers and innovators from government, CSPs, vendors and the industry’s foremost research institutions will share their perspectives and vision on strategies for the delivery of full 5G. Delivering these talks to a global audience they will discuss the benefits it will bring to societies and industries around the world, as they set the agenda and explain the drivers for the evolution from 5G to 6G to 2030 and beyond.

One of the speakers of the event is Regius Professor Rahim Tafazolli, member of the IET Digital Communications Group and director of 5GIC and the Institute for Communication Systems.
