The Control of Electromagnetic Fields at Work Regulations 2016 came into force on 1 July 2016. While few work places contain the specialised equipment capable of exceeding the limits set out in these regulations, the measures do however impose a duty to perform an exposure assessment. This Fact File considers the scope of the regulations in particular requirements covering record keeping and staff who at particular risk.
