Dr Alan Godfrey

Dr Alan Godfrey will now virtually attend the conference in Canada in July 2020.

It is the 42nd Annual International Conferences of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society in conjunction with the 43rd Annual Conference of the Canadian Medical and Biological Engineering Society.

Sabrina Smith will be travelling for a research visit to Harvard University USA in 2021 - exact dates to be confirmed.

She will be working in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology.

Dr Sarah Peers

Travelling to New York City, USA 8 - 12 March 2020 to attend NGO CSW 64 Forum - Parallel Event conferences supported by International Network of Women Engineers and Scientists (INWES).

Pavlos Giannakou travelled to Boston in the United States to attend the Materials Research Society (MRS) Conference from 1 - 6 December 2019.

Oliver Holt

Oliver Holt travelled in late February for a short research visit to the College of Engineering at the University of Arkansas, USA.

Rodosthenis Charalampous

Rodosthenis Charalampous travelled to the Hongo Campus of the University of Tokyo for a project involving 'Robotics and Remote Systems' in collaboration with the Japan Atomic Energy Agency. He was away from January 2020 until February 2020.

Nicola Chiodetto

Nicola Chiodetto attended the ECCE: IEEE Energy Conversion Conference and Exposition in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.  He was away from 29 September until 3 October 2019.

Dr Ciara McGrath

Dr Ciara McGrath travelled to the 70th International Astronautical Congress 2019 in Washington D.C., USA. She was away from 21 - 25 October 2019.

Glen Gowers

Glen Gowers flew to Reykjavik, Iceland on 14 April for a research project/visit to study the microbial life in glaciers.  He travelled in a team of three and returned on 20 May 2019.

Dr Ozak Esu

Dr Ozak Esu travelled to Malawi on 10 May with a team of 22 Engineers from the UK. The Women's Engineering Expedition returned on 27 May 2019.
