Each competition calls for a different challenge to be solved and runs in partnership with a charity relevant to the chosen topic.
Now in its third cycle, the previous two challenges were in association with RedR UK - a disaster relief charity that provides training to aid workers and agencies worldwide - and the challenges were based on humanitarian aid topics.
For the 2018/19 competition, and for the first time, we have two charities partnered with the competition - Greenpeace & GreenSeas Trust. There are two challenges for teams to choose from.
The objective of the competition
The Global Challenge aims to encourage Young Professionals across the globe to address a real-world engineering challenge with their diverse academic and technical exposure.
The challenge will focus on the technical feasibility, efficiency and innovation of the proposed solution as well as testing the marketing skills of participants.
