IET Diamond Scholarships

We offer students the chance to apply for one of our hugely popular Diamond Scholarships to receive funding up to the value of £4,000.

The criteria

If you want to apply for a Diamond Jubilee Scholarship, make sure the following applies to you:

  • Achieving any of the following grades:
    • A Level: A,B,B or above
    • Advanced Highers: A,B,B or above
    • Highers: A,A,A,A,B or above
    • International Baccalaureate Diploma: 36 points or above
  • About to commence studying in Autumn of the year of application on an IET accredited undergraduate degree programme in the UK
  • You are a UK resident. We apologise, our Diamond Scholarships are not available to anyone outside of the UK.

Useful things to know

  • Applications open 29 March 2021
  • If you aren’t sure, check the list of IET accredited CEng and IEng programmes to make sure your degree is eligible
  • Please do not apply if you intend to study Civil, Chemical or Structural Engineering unless your degree course is accredited by the IET.
  • You will have a passion for engineering and be keen to help promote engineering to others.
