Celebration Ceremony

Key roles:

  • Celebration Ceremony Event Coordinator, Executive Team

Aim:

  • Revive and refresh the experience of attending the celebration ceremony for 2021/22 scholars and bursary winners

Objectives

  • Decide and design the best ways to highlight volunteering opportunities to the cohort
  • Get creative with ways to ensure that the cohort are connecting and interacting with each other and the our reps in attendance

Deliverables

  • S&B council presentation
  • Workshop ideas/plans
  • Drop-in session ideas/plans

 

Communication Strategy

Key roles:

  • Communication Strategy Lead, Annual Cohort Leads, Executive Team

Aim:

  • Revive and refresh the way that our staff and S&B Council communicate with S&B cohorts

Objectives

  • Guide the cohort leads in their roles
  • Monitor success of approaches
  • Aggregate content (opportunities and messaging) from other IET sources

 Deliverables

  • Devise communication strategy for next session (2022/2023)
  • Report on success of current communication strategy

Mentoring Project

Key roles:

  • Mentoring Project Lead, Executive Team

Aim:

  • Revive and refresh our mentoring to better suit the needs of young professionals (18-35)

Objectives

  • Support Young Professionals Committee project team to deliver the pilot scheme
  • Support development of the pilot scheme for roll-out to IET YPs globally
  • Explore and develop features of the scheme that could specifically benefit S&B cohorts

Deliverables

  • Propose specific additions/modifications to the scheme for greater value-add to S&B cohorts
  • Report on success of the pilot scheme

Big Idea 2021 Project

Key roles:

  • Future Project Lead, Executive Team

Aim:

  • Bring something new and exciting to the council... what do S&B cohorts want that we aren’t currently giving them?
