Is anyone aware of a good battery safety presentations, courses, websites or case studies? I want to promote battery safety in the company especially when it comes to Lithium.

I'm planning on doing a 30 minute talk on battery safety by showing example of when it goes wrong, basic science and what to do if it does go wrong. Rather than reinvent the wheel I sure someone has already done something like this.

Thanks
Stephen

Consider the motor trade rather than the electrical installation trade, they are having to deal with very large batteries.

What training do the motor vehicle technicians receive and the parts department staff who handle them?

I currently have two failed 25.6 V 40 Ah Home micro-network storage batteries on the front seat of my van awaiting return labels to send them back having installed two replacements, obviously they cannot stay there!

I am actually seriously considering the implications of handling, storing and transporting batteries of 1 Kw and above.
