Is it time that IEng was changed to something like CTec?

Surly this title change would carry more weight; the fact you can apply to be an International Technologist suggests that the title fits better to that than Engineering?

Why replace a title that many people have never heard of with one that nobody has ever heard of? Why impose an arbitrary distinction between "engineer" and "technologist" that most people would find hard to define?
