Just went to buy one of the NIC's new Short Guides on Construction Sites, the guide is £6 and the postage is £6! You only get free postage if you spend £100!

What a bloody rip off! :/

Well is that a surprise? The Essential Guide, generally free to all members, was dumped so that they could flog you information that they have managed to persuade you that you cannot live without. See them for what they are; a commercially driven enterprise and not some philanthropic charitable outfit that cares about electrical safety.
Having said that, I have to admire Emmas outfit in its ability to pen big, tough electrical contractors like little sheep. She successfully coralled them in to the electrical safety register pen, charged them plenty for an entry fee and then throws them tit-bits of information for which she also charges plenty. Wish I had thought of it!

When will you wake up? NIC are bad for this trade. Just in it for the money.

New here?
