Just to alert you all to a problem that i encountered today.

I went to replace an in-line extractor fan with integral over run timer in roof space above a bathroom. Downlights had LED GU10s in them.

I upgraded to another with more "suck" and had to use a Manrose 1351 stand-alone timer module. All working OK, fan on with lights and over running when lights were turned off. However when lights were off they pulsed on and off every few seconds whether fan was running or not. Closed 3-pole isolator and problem went away.

Called Manrose technical and it turns out the module sends a pulse down the switched live core that's enought to light the LEDs. They are sending me a diode to place in the switched live wire to cure the problem.

Never seen this happen with any other timers though.
