Each time I read a thread on high Ze readings, PME, proximity to transformers and supply impedances etc I do begin to glaze over and things go foggy around the edges.

So, could sombody suggest some appropriate reading on all things related to the dark side of the cutout?

Many thanks,

The IET electrical installation design guide to calculations and CIBSE guide K are both useful.

capacity up to 100amps 230V single phase 0.38ohm
capacity up to 200amps/phase 400V 3 phase 0.38ohm

capacity from 200amps to 300amps/phase 400V 3 phase 0.20ohm
capacity exceeding 300 amps/phase 400v 3 phase 0.15ohms

higher values could apply to customers fed from small capacity pole mounted tx and/or long lengths of low voltage overhead overhead lines
